Swar Sanskruti Music Academy (SSMA) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation founded in 2013 by internationally acclaimed sitar maestro Pt. Ravi Chary. The academy is devoted to preserving, teaching, and promoting the rich heritage of Hindustani Classical Music.
Through its dedicated training programs, SSMA nurtures young and aspiring musicians, helping them evolve as disciplined and expressive artists. The academy provides platforms for talented students to perform and grow under the traditional gurukul paddhati.
Along with promoting emerging artists, SSMA extends financial and medical assistance to senior classical musicians, ensuring their dignity and well-being. Its mission is to sustain the lineage of Indian classical traditions while inspiring the next generation to carry the torch of this timeless art.
SSMA also organises concerts, workshops, and cultural initiatives that bring music lovers closer to the purity of Indian ragas.
